Cancellation and Return Policy

 

Please note that we cannot cancel your order if it has already been shipped.

All orders placed before 6:00 PM are processed the same evening. As our beauty products are prepared for fast shipping to ensure they reach you fresh, we won’t be able to cancel any order after 6:00 PM, as our shipping team closes after 5:00 PM.

Any order placed after 6:00 PM can be canceled up until 6:00 PM the following day. Simply send an email to contact@melaness.com.

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee on all products only if the product is defective or visibly damaged during shipping. This might include severely damaged packaging affecting the product, liquid leakage, or a broken product. Just let us know, and we’ll provide a return address for a replacement or refund.

We will only cover return shipping costs if the product is defective or damaged during shipping.

Please carefully review the product description and ingredients before purchase, as we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons related to personal allergies or disliking the color after use, unless there’s a defect in the product itself. If returning for reasons other than a manufacturing defect, the customer must return the product to us in its original, unopened packaging. Melaness will not cover accumulated shipping costs, but may offer a discount on an exchange.


 

Important Points to Note:

 

  • A 30% restocking fee of the order value will be applied to returns that do not include all original packaging, or have been partially opened/used without a manufacturing defect.

  • Melaness will not cover the accumulated costs for your replacement product parcels, unless the replacement is due to a manufacturing defect.

  • We allow returns of products in their original, unopened packaging to qualify for our return policy. Please keep the product’s original packaging (outer boxes and any original packing materials) in case you decide to use our return policy.

  • You can request a return (or exchange) by contacting our customer service at contact@melaness.com.

  • You are eligible for a return (and exchange) within a 30-day period if the product is defective or damaged. No returns can be issued after 30 days from the purchase date.


 

How to Proceed with a Return:

 

Photographic proof showing the initial condition of the products upon receipt, followed by photos illustrating the defect or damage, must be provided. The photos should also show that the products have been properly packed in their original packaging for return shipment. You will then receive return instructions from our support team, including a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, via your email address within 30 days of submitting the request.

Our support team will issue a full refund upon receipt and inspection of the product, confirming it meets the return conditions (in its original packaging, unopened if the return is for non-defect reasons, or confirming the reported defect). If you requested an exchange, a new replacement item equivalent to the value of the returned item will be sent to you.


 

Before Returning the Product:

 

Please note that beauty products, once opened or used, generally cannot be returned for hygiene and customer safety reasons, unless there is a clear manufacturing defect. Please ensure the product is in its original condition before initiating the return process.

Refunds will be processed 2 to 3 business days after receiving and verifying the product. The transfer time for the refund to your account may take 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank.

Reasonable restocking fees (maximum 30%) will be applied to any product that does not meet the return requirements mentioned above (e.g., missing packaging, partial usage without a defect).
